Award-winning singer-songwriter Finn Pearson has built a reputation as one of Western Australia’s hardest-working independent artists, emerging as a prolific multi-instrumentalist across regional touring circuits and packed full-band shows in Perth. Set against the vast landscapes of WA, from sprawling suburbs to open highways, his music explores the tensions of modern life: love and darkness, obsession and yearning, beauty and rage. Drawing on the storytelling tradition of Paul Kelly and Cold Chisel alongside the lyrical depth of Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, Finn delivers a sound that is both nostalgic and unmistakably contemporary.
Following a breakout run of releases and performances, Finn Pearson Band has appeared at major WA festivals including Out of the Woods, Blues at Bridgetown and Wave Rock Weekender, and shared stages with Kingswood, The Southern River Band and Playlunch. Recent work has drawn praise from Rolling Stone and The AU Review, alongside airplay on ABC Country and Australian Country Radio, and Spotify editorial playlisting. With new music leaning darker, bolder and more rock-influenced, Finn enters his next chapter with revitalised live energy and growing national momentum.
