West Australian singer-songwriter Finn Pearson is gearing up for a busy few months, announcing a run of shows across Perth and the South West in support of his upcoming single Tunnel Lights, out May 15.

The tour will see Pearson take his evolving live show on the road, performing a mix of full band and stripped-back sets that reflect his recent shift toward a more alt-country and roots rock sound. Known for his honest, story-driven songwriting and dynamic performances, these shows mark the beginning of a new chapter for the artist as he continues to build momentum beyond WA.

The new single Tunnel Lights captures a more expansive sonic direction, blending dreamy slide guitar textures with a grittier backbone. It’s a sound that’s already translating strongly in a live setting, with Pearson’s recent performances earning him support slots alongside artists like William Crighton and Eskimo Joe.

The WA run includes a headline Perth show, joined by special guests, as well as a series of regional dates, many of which will be free entry, giving fans across the South West the chance to catch Pearson live as the new music rolls out.

Off the back of a strong 12 months that has included festival appearances at Nannup Music Festival, Blues at Bridgetown and Wave Rock Weekender, alongside consistent releases and growing national attention, Pearson’s upcoming tour feels like a natural step forward.

With Tunnel Lights set to land mid-May and more releases on the horizon, this run of shows offers an early glimpse into what’s shaping up to be a defining period for one of WA’s most hardworking independent artists.
