Full Flower Moon Band go viral as celebrities share Brisbane rockers' reel
Brisbane cult-rockers Full Flower Moon Band are stirring up the internet after a live clip from their recent EU/UK tour went viral. Capturing frontwoman Kate ‘Babyshakes’ Dillon in electrifying form on stage, the reel has sparked passionate debates in the comments and amassed over 800k views, 18k likes, and hundreds of reactions ranging from awe to outrage. Despite its polarising effect, the video has sparked a rush of new followers, including icons like Noel Fielding, Jack Black, Cage The Elephant and Sleaford Mods.
Far from an overnight success, Full Flower Moon Band have already carved out a reputation as one of Australia’s most electrifying rock acts. Their latest album MEGAFLOWER debuted at #1 on the ARIA Australian Albums Chart, followed by international buzz from KEXP, spins on BBC Radio (courtesy of Iggy Pop), and a UK/EU deal with tastemakers Free Trade. Recently, the band teamed up with Nick Allbrook (POND) on a collaborative single, released a RAGE featured video, and even launched their own beer with Mountain Goat, now available nationwide at Dan Murphy’s and BWS.
With tours across Australia, the UK and Europe leaving scorched stages in their wake, Full Flower Moon Band are cementing their status as rock’s next cult heroes.
